Oh the places you'll go

This past weekend was well worth the wait. Going back through our photos, it was hard to pick which one's fully embodied all that our long weekend had revealed to us. After mixing and stealing photos from Star and Katie I feel like I have acquired the sufficient amount of visual aid to properly portray the journey we experienced.

First off, the reason for the trip was because of a little band called "Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros."

I heard them once on an episode of Ugly Betty and fell in love. Originally Star and I got hyped when we heard they would be playing at coachella this year, but that dream soon fizzled away with the harsh reality that was our bank accounts. Than we found out they would be playing up north and decided instead to save our pennies and ROAD TRIP. Not only would we get to see the band, but also our dear friends Natalee and Allison (who are both polar o
pposites and sisters.) So we grabbed Katie and off we went.

Katie met us in the OC for some pre-road trip pho and candy. Than we "foot danced" our way up North to my trusty ipizzle, properly equipped with a "road trip to eddy" playlist. We made it to Brentwood in 6 hours, one tank of gas, nonstop, and after Starlin chugged two water bottles.

The adventure had begun.

The weekend consisted of a whirl wind of four major cities,

1. Brentwood
2. Berkeley
3. San Francisco
4. Santa Cruz.

Each place offering us something new and exciting.

Berkeley was first. On the way there Katie whipped out her mustache shaver and decided to show Allison what exactly she was missing out on. Which apparently was a groomed and smooth upper lip.

In Berkeley we: visited Buffalo exchange, ate thai food, and visited a doughnut shop. The drive home was beautiful with the green rolling hills and a moon set.

That night in Brentwood we went dancing for Allison's birthday and tore up the rug with old people.

The next day we planned on a trip to the $1 horse races BUT ended up getting there super late. On the bright side we didn't have to pay to get in BUT then we lost all of our money, 5 big ones.

Then we visited Haight street in San Fran where Star searched for a proper nose ring and we visited another Buffalo exchange.
The big day finally came for us to see our beloved band. The day started off with Jesus, as it should and of course we have pictures to show for it.
Made vegan pizza

Went to the candy shop in Santa Cruz

and FINALLY saw the band.
enjoy
